Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi in dialogue with Ukraine's Leaders

January 18, 2025, Kyiv - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi participated in the "Ukraine - Southeast Europe" Summit alongside foreign ministers from the region. On this occasion, he held meetings with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

The discussions focused on regional security, the need to strengthen support for Ukraine, enhancing energy security, and combating disinformation. The attending foreign ministers reaffirmed their full solidarity with Ukraine and emphasized the importance of achieving a just and lasting peace based on Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

"I expressed gratitude to Ukraine's leadership for the courage and sacrifice of the Ukrainian people, who defend our shared values and protect the Republic of Moldova from the Kremlin's aggression". - mentioned Minister Mihai Popșoi.
