Orrick Grows New York Tech & Venture Capital Team

• Tech and venture capital advisor Adam Freiman joins Orrick's Technology Companies Group as a partner in New York.
• Adam counsels high-growth companies focused on AI, biotech, fintech, healthtech/life sciences, software and SaaS, blockchain and ecommerce on venture and growth equity financings and M&A transactions. He brings deep experience guiding buy- and sell-side M&A deals, as well as corporate governance matters and joint ventures.
• Adam regularly advises leading investors on their investments in the innovation ecosystem, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Thrive Capital and FJ Labs, among others.
• Adam is the seventh lateral partner addition to the firm's Technology Companies Group in 2025, including life sciences and VC advisors Mark Solakian and Jake Gatof in Boston, as well as a 14-lawyer tech companies and VC team in Los Angeles. He is also the fifth partner addition in New York for the firm this year. The firm also launched in Miami this summer with a three-partner M&A and private equity team focused on serving the region's growing tech and innovation ecosystem.
