Nationals Opening Day Sidewalk Vending

Washington Nationals Opening Day is scheduled for April 3, 2026, and the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP) is sharing important information for Class A and Class B sidewalk vendors interested in vending during the 2026 Washington Nationals Baseball Season.

Available Spots

There will be 14 sidewalk vending locations available near Nationals Park:

• 6 Merchandise Vendors (Half Street SE)

• 8 Food Vendors (1st Street SE between M & N Street SE)

License & Safety Requirements

All vendors must be fully licensed and in compliance before applying for the lottery. Requirements include:

• DLCP License

• DC Health approval for food vendors

• Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) requirements

• Micro Enterprise Vendors are not permitted to enter the lottery

• Ice Cream and Food Trucks are not eligible to enter the lottery

Vendors who are not compliant may not be able to vend.

• The Nationals Park Map to view approved vending locations
