Schweizer Hosts Third Annual Valentines for Veterans Card Drop-Off

DANVILLE, IL… State Representative Brandun Schweizer (R-Danville) is hosting his third annual Valentines for Veterans Card Drop-off and invites you to participate.

"I am encouraging everyone to participate in making Valentine's Day cards for veterans," said Rep. Schweizer. "Last year, my office provided over 2,000 valentines to veterans living at the Cannon Place in Danville, and it was a great way to show them some much-needed appreciation."

Valentine's Day cards will be accepted from Tuesday, January 20^th through Monday, February 9^th. Cards may be dropped off or mailed to State Representative Brandun Schweizer, 3821 N. Vermilion Ste. 5, Danville, IL 61832. No appointment is necessary to drop off cards.

Following the collection, Rep. Schweizer and his team will personally hand-deliver the cards before Valentine's Day to area veterans. Everyone is encouraged to participate by creating cards to give to area veterans.
