BNC Notices Sent To Canadian Addresses

Thursday, October 9, 2025

Many court notices are sent through the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC). However, due to a national labor action involving Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, BNC notices sent to Canadian addresses have been held at the border and will not be delivered until the postal strike has concluded. Electronic noticing through the BNC is also is not an option at this time. Parties in bankruptcy cases should assume that since September 26, 2025, court-issued notices have not been delivered to a Canadian recipient.
