Unleashing a Movement of Hope for the Salish Sea, a workshop presented by the Sustainability Engagement Institute and the Salish Sea Institute

This workshop will bring together WWU students, faculty, and staff along with community members who are working for the protection of the Salish Sea. Attendees will hear from several speakers including Ginny Broadhurst, Director of the Salish Sea Institute and Elin Kelsey, author of "Hope Matters: Why Changing the Way We Think is Critical to Solving the Environmental Crisis." Ginny and Elin have held a series of workshops together to create a Network of Hope for the Salish Sea.

Lunch will be provided (with vegan and gluten free options).

The workshop will also offer space for conversations about solutions, collaborations, and community.

Work party led by Ecological Restoration Club will meet at Red Square at 3 pm. Gloves and tools provided.

Registration is required, but free for WWU students, faculty and staff. Community members may also register for $10.
