NEW: Michigan Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Kristen McDonald Rivet

McDonald Rivet : "I will always stand by our police officers and fight to get them the resources, tools, and training they need to keep us safe."

Kristen McDonald Rivet has secured another massive win after the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police announced it was endorsing her in the race for Michigan's 8th Congressional District.

In FOP President Michael Sauger's statement, he praised McDonald Rivet's "proven track record of advocacy and community engagement," calling her a "dedicated leader" who "embodies the qualities we need in our representatives."

With the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police's endorsement joining other organizations like the Michigan Corrections Organization, the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson and Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton, McDonald Rivet's support from law enforcement across the district continues to grow.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
"Michigan law enforcement continues to recognize Kristen McDonald Rivet's deep hometown values and proven record of keeping families safe. There's only one candidate in this race dedicated to keeping Michigan communities safe, and it's certainly not California carpetbagger Paul Junge."
