Coverdale Road Bridge To Reopen with New Traffic Pattern
Bridgeville - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that Bridge 3-235 carrying Coverdale Road over Gravelly Branch, northeast of Middleford, will reopen to traffic in mid -June.
When the bridge reopens, traffic will be restricted to one lane across the structure. Stop signs will be in place at both ends of the bridge, and motorists must stop and take turns crossing.
In addition, new weight restrictions of 21 tons have been imposed on Bridge 3-235. Weight limits vary based on truck type and axle configuration. Motorists and commercial vehicle operators should follow all posted load restriction signage when navigating Coverdale Road.
