Novant Health ExpressCare adds walk-in care location in southern New Hanover County
WILMINGTON, N.C. - Novant Health ExpressCare will open a new location for walk-in care that's convenient for residents in southern New Hanover County.
The ExpressCare clinic will open Sept. 2 within New Hanover Primary Care - Myrtle Grove at 5145 South College Road, Wilmington. ExpressCare will operate seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"We know patients and families will appreciate this new access point offering extended and weekend hours for walk-in care," said Rand Pennington, a family nurse practitioner who also serves as the lead advanced practice provider for the region's primary care services. "Our experienced care teams are looking forward to welcoming patients to offer care for a range of injuries and illnesses."

- Treatment for minor wounds and injuries, such as sprains, strains and cuts requiring stitches

Care for illnesses, including the flu, strep throat and ear infections

Evaluation of flare-ups and worsening symptoms for patients with chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Flu and COVID vaccines
- School, sports and camp physicals

On-site lab and diagnostic imaging
