TPA named Best Large Airport for third straight year by USA TODAY in annual 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards

For the second time, TPA was named Best Airport for Art, surpassing competitors including Nashville (BNA), Denver (DEN) and Salt Lake City (SLC). TPA's public art program is widely regarded as a benchmark for airports nationwide, with notable works including HOME by Matthew Mazzotta, a 21-foot-tall flamingo affectionately known as Phoebe; Copper Birds by Roy Butler, located inside Airside A; Final Boarding Call by Christopher Still at Airside C; and n + 1 by Ralph Helmick, displayed at the SkyConnect station in the Main Terminal.

Visitors to TPA can also discover Palimpsest by Nick Cave in the Airport's Rental Car Center, along with three new additions to the art collection near the new Red Express Curbsides: Starfish Family | Dancing Algae by Claudia Comte, Cloud Ascent by Jason Bruges and On Memory and Plants by Janaina Tschäpe.
