The Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan for the 2025 City & Borough of Juneau and Tlingit & Haida Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is now available for public review and comment here
Share your input. The public is encouraged to provide comments on the Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) using the Comment Log by July 25, 2025. Emailed comments can be sent to laura.young@fairweather.com. We are expediting the public comment period and finalization of the plan due to grant deadlines. The Draft HMP includes the Draft Mitigation Action Projects also available for public comment until July 25, 2025.

Public Meeting: A public meeting to present the Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan and take public comment will be held on July 21, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. More details regarding the public meeting to follow.
