Eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) Closed Between Cooper Road and Val Vista Drive July 17-20

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers of the following closures scheduled for work on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project:

• Reminder: Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Cooper Road and Val Vista Drive from 10 p.m. Friday, July 17, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20.
  • The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Alma School Road, Arizona Avenue and McQueen Road also will be closed.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Pecos or Germann roads to reconnect with eastbound Loop 202 at Val Vista Drive or Williams Field Road.
• Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, July 20, ending Friday morning, July 24.
  • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.

UPCOMING CLOSURE

• Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Gilbert and Williams Field roads from 10 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 27.

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
