Deb Haaland DECLINES KRQE Debate with Gregg Hull

IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 12, 2026 Albuquerque, NM - While gubernatorial candidate, Gregg Hull, has accepted KRQE's recent invitation for a televised debate, Democrat Deb Haaland has refused. RPNM releases the following statement: "Declining KRQE's debate invitation is just the latest 'no-show' in Deb Haaland's continuing pattern of refusing to show up on the campaign trail," said Interim Chairman Mike Nelson. "It's a shame Deb can't be bothered to face Gregg Hull and answer tough questions at a KRQE debate. Neglect and incompetence from Democrats have crippled our state in recent years, and Deb Haaland has spent this entire election cycle showing those same flaws. Gregg Hull on the other hand, has been on the campaign trail earning every single vote. He's ready on day one to change the direction of New Mexico." ### |
