Central Pa. Construction Company Announces New Owners
Vice President of Construction Jessica Kosoff and Vice President of Preconstruction and Planning Nathan Fry join existing owners Ken Funk, president, and Dave Funk, vice president, as part of the company's ongoing succession planning.
"This is a milestone for Funk Construction," Ken Funk said in a statement. "Jess and Nathan have been integral to our success for more than two decades, shaping our company and culture. As we approach a generational transition in leadership, we are confident that Funk Construction's legacy is in trusted hands with these two dedicated leaders."
Added Dave Funk, "At Funk Construction, we have always prioritized mentorship and developing future leaders. Welcoming Jess and Nathan as owners ensures we'll carry that tradition forward and continue building for generations to come."
Kosoff began her career as a project engineer at CRSS, a Jacobs Engineering Company, contributing to the construction of the NOAA Laboratory and Office Facility in Boulder, Colorado. According to a release, she continued her journey in estimating at Alexander Constructors and as a Project Engineer at Barclay White Skanska before joining Funk Construction in 2004. Kosoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Fry has more than 30 years of experience in design and project planning. Per the release, he started his career in kitchen, bath, and home design before studying Architectural Design at the Thompson Institute, where he also taught for three years. Fry gained further experience with Crabtree Rohrbaugh Architects and Kaylor Architects and joined Funk Construction in 2005 as a project planner and estimator.
A third-generation, family-owned builder, Funk Construction has more than 85 years of experience serving organizations across Central Pennsylvania.
