Dentons advises The Arab Energy Fund on the acquisition of a strategic minority stake in Arabian Petroleum Supply Company

Riyadh-Dentons has advised The Arab Energy Fund, a leading multilateral impact financial institution, on the acquisition of a strategic minority stake in Arabian Petroleum Supply Company ("Apsco").

The stake was acquired from Haji Abdullah Alireza & Company Ltd, one of the Kingdom's oldest and most respected family-owned conglomerates. The transaction marks a strategic partnership between The Arab Energy Fund and Haji Abdullah Alireza & Company Ltd, aimed at supporting Apsco's long-term growth and operational excellence across its core business segments.

Apsco is one of Saudi Arabia's leading downstream petroleum companies, with operations spanning the supply of aviation fuel at airports across the Kingdom, the manufacture and distribution of fuel lubricants, and the operation of a network of branded petrol stations.

Through this investment, The Arab Energy Fund aims to support Apsco's long-term growth strategy, operational excellence, and geographic expansion, while leveraging its regional expertise, institutional network, and deep sector knowledge.
