Photography exhibition: Equity at the school gate
Francesca Brugnoli has documented the work of Painga Project, a charity working to provide vision and hearing testing for tamariki at local schools.
Her photography exhibition (part of the Auckland Festival of Photography) shows the young children of Onepoto Primary School getting tested and the joy of receiving their first glasses.
It runs from May 29th to June 14th 2026 at Devonport Library. The evening event on June 7th at 6pm is a talk by the co-founder of the Painga Project and a celebration of the exhibition.
