UPDATE - Aggravated Assault 1900 Block Peale Terrace
UPDATE!
GREENSBORO, NC (February 16, 2026) - Greensboro Police arrested a 64-year-old woman Sunday night in connection with an assault in her home.
Mattie Lee Noreiga was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. She is in the Guilford County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Additional details about the charges are in the arrest warrant, which is publicly available online via Guilford County eCourts.
The victim was released today from the hospital.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Aggravated Assault
GREENSBORO, NC (February 15, 2025) - On 02.15.2025 at 18:52 pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Peale Terrace in reference to an Aggravated Assault. Responding Officers located one victim with life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
There is no additional information at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
