28th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 24 August 2026, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the following bills:

  1. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Notaries, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  2. Bill amending the Law on Judges, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  3. Bill on the Judicial Academy, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  4. Bill amending the Law on Lobbying, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  5. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Prosecution, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  6. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Government, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  7. Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, submitted by MP Miroslav Petrasinovic, in principle;
  8. Bill amending the Law on the Return of Seized Property and Compensation, submitted by MP Dane Stanojcic, in principle;
  9. Bill amending and modifying the Law on Eliminating the Consequences of the Seizure of Assets of Holocaust Victims With No Living Legal Heirs, submitted by MP Dane Stanojcic, in principle;
  10. Bill amending the Law on Civil Servants, submitted by MP Ugljesa Markovic, in principle;

On behalf of the submitters, the bills were presented by Assistant Minister of Justice Jovan Cosic, after which the Committee adopted all the bills on the agenda.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Lidija Nacic, Natasa Milic Milas, Djordje Komlenski, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Nikola Bokan, Risto Kostov, Ivana Stamatovic, Jovan Palalic, Dragan Nikolic, Verica Milanovic, Boris Bajic and Aleksandar Ivanovic.
