Norton Rose Fulbright partner Christine Fernandez Owen named a Notable Women in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business

Norton Rose Fulbright United States Co-Head of Projects Real EstateChristine Fernandez Owen (Chicago) has been selected to Crain's Chicago Business' 2026 Notable Women in Law list.

This honor recognizes high achieving women who serve as role models or mentors and show a commitment to advancing their industry and community. Honorees are selected through a peer nomination and editorial review process.

Christine is a respected leader in the renewable energy sector advising on real estate matters for wind, solar and energy projects. She oversees a team of 30 lawyers and paralegals while supporting clients across the country in developing, constructing and operating clean energy infrastructure.

Christine is active in Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and is an adjunct professor of Clean Energy Law at Northwestern Law School. A dedicated mentor to young lawyers inside and outside of the firm, Christine also serves as co-chair of the Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Council.
