Local Authors Featured at October 26 John H. Ames Reading Series Event

Lincoln City Libraries and the Heritage Room of Nebraska Authors invite community members to a John H. Ames Reading Series event Sunday, October 26. Local young adult authors Allison L. Bitz and Alena Bruzas will read from their recent books at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Room of Nebraska Authors at Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th St. The event is free, and downtown parking is free on Sundays.
Bitz, a Lincoln-based counselor and writer, is the author of "The Unstoppable Bridget Bloom," winner of a 2024 Nebraska Book Award, and the new novel "Three Things About Emmy Crawford." Bruzas, also of Lincoln, is the author of "Ever Since" and "To the Bone."
