TRAGIC SKI RESORT FIRE IN BOLU, REPUBLIC OF TÜRKIYE

The Government of Malaysia, through its Embassy in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul, is closely monitoring the aftermath of the tragic incident caused by a devastating fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu, Türkiye, which resulted in 76 deaths and 51 injuries. No Malaysians have reportedly been involved in the accident.

The Government of Malaysia expresses its deepest condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Türkiye and the families and victims affected. Malaysia stands in solidarity and pray for strength and fortitude during this difficult time.
