DANDRIDGE, Tenn. - Today, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) joined U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent for the unveiling of the Donald J. Trump Bridge in Jefferson County alongsidemembers of the Trump family, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), State Representative Jeremy Faison, and State Senator Jessie Seal:
"Hundreds of thousands of people use our corridor each and every day, and the Donald J. Trump Bridge will help ensure our infrastructure meets the needs of East Tennesseans and keeps Americans moving," said Senator Blackburn. "Following the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Helene less than two years ago, this project is a testament to the incredible progress East Tennessee communities have made to rebuild stronger than ever. I am grateful to President Trump, Secretary Bessent, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation for strengthening this crucial artery of our nation's transportation system."
