Torkin Manes is pleased to announce the establishment of the firm's AI & Innovation Group, reflecting the firm's ongoing commitment to helping clients navigate the rapidly evolving opportunities, risks and legal implications of artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and raising new legal, regulatory and governance considerations. As organizations adopt AI, they require advisors who understand both the technology and the evolving legal landscape.
Our AI & Innovation Group brings together lawyers with experience in technology, privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, corporate/commercial, employment, litigation and regulatory matters, providing integrated advice on the legal, commercial and regulatory implications of AI.
At the helm of this practice group are co-chairs Lisa R. Lifshitz and Roland Hung, recognized leaders whose extensive experience spans many of the legal and regulatory issues arising from the development and adoption of emerging technologies. Their combined expertise and collaborative approach position them well to lead the continued growth of the firm's AI capabilities.
In addition to acting as co-chairs of this new practice group, Lisa will continue as chair of the Technology Group, and Roland will assume the role of chair of the Privacy, Data & Cybersecurity Group.
The firm has also taken an important step in advancing our internal approach to artificial intelligence and innovation, with Sondra Rebenchuk serving as Director of AI & Innovation. In this role, Sondra is focused on integrating artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into the firm's operations and supporting professionals in leveraging these tools to enhance client service.
Together, these initiatives underscore Torkin Manes' broader commitment to embracing innovation, both in the legal advice the firm provides to clients and in the way that advice is delivered, positioning the firm to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the profession for years to come.
