I-64 CABELL COUNTY Lane & Ramp Closures 29th Street Bridge beginning Monday, March 30, 2026

There will be temporary nighttime lane and ramp closures along westbound Interstate 64 in Barboursville, at the 29th Street Bridge, from 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, as construction crews perform bridge deck surface improvements.

I-64 westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane over the 29th Street Bridge and the 29th Street westbound on ramp will be closed during this time.

All lane and ramp closures are a part of the 29th Street to Guyandotte widening project.
Drivers should expect delays, adjust their commuting schedules, and avoid the area if possible. Detours will be in place for local traffic.

Please use caution when traveling through the area for flaggers, equipment, and workers.​
