The next event in the Stony Brook Southampton Dialogues series will feature Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith hosting an engaging conversation with Eden Figueroa, director of Stony Brook University's Quantum Institute.
"The Next Wave: Quantum Networking and the Future of Communication," will be held Tuesday, July 14 at 1 pm at Stony Brook Southampton's Chancellors Hall. The event is free and open to the public and a reception will immediately follow. Register for the event online.

Figueroa is an endowed presidential professor of physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a joint appointment with Brookhaven National Laboratory, and is a recognized national and international leader for his research and entrepreneurship in quantum networking.
The Stony Brook Southampton Dialogues series has included "Healthy Aging: Living Your Best Life," and a discussion between President Goldsmith and State University of New York Chancellor John B. King Jr.
