BANGKA SELATAN -- To help ease the burden of medical expenses for those in need, PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk provided financial assistance for medical treatment to Rosnah, a resident of Rias Village, South Bangka Regency.
The medical assistance from PT TIMAH is expected to help reduce the family's burden in covering treatment costs that have been ongoing for some time.
Rosnah, who is now around 70 years old, is known to be in a concerning health condition and requires continuous medical care. Her family admitted that they have struggled to afford the treatment expenses, making the assistance from PT TIMAH a significant source of hope for them.
Rosnah's child, Darazi, expressed gratitude for PT TIMAH's concern in helping their family.
He stated that the assistance is very meaningful and provides relief in their current situation.
"Alhamdulillah, we are greatly helped by the assistance from PT TIMAH. This means a lot to us, and it has even exceeded our expectations. Thank you for your concern for the community," said Darazi.
Looking ahead, he hopes that PT TIMAH will continue to care for those in need so that more people can benefit from such assistance.
The Head of Rias Village, Muslim, also expressed appreciation for PT TIMAH's contributions, which have been consistently supporting the local community. He noted that the company's presence has had a tangible impact, especially in helping underprivileged residents.
"As both an individual and the Village Head, I would like to express my gratitude. PT TIMAH has helped many of our residents. For example, Ms. Rosnah has greatly benefited from this assistance," said Muslim.
According to him, during his leadership, various assistance programs from PT TIMAH have been felt by the people of Rias Village, ranging from support for village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), MSME development, youth activities, to social assistance for underprivileged communities.
"From what we see, PT TIMAH has greatly helped the community through its various programs. The benefits are truly felt by our residents," he added.
Muslim hopes that PT TIMAH will continue these social programs in the future, considering that Rias Village has a large population with diverse social needs.
