Albertsons Library Dean update

Albertsons Library Dean Tod Colegrove has been appointed Dean of Library Services for California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, effective July 13, 2026. Colegrove joined Boise State in 2022.

"I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Dr. Colegrove in his new position and thank him for his service and leadership at Boise State. Dean Colegrove has led transformational changes at Albertsons Library, including integrating AI literacy into undergraduate courses available to all, expanding access to course text materials through library services and advancing major facilities improvements," said Interim Provost Zeynep Hansen.

"Everything I'm proud of from these past four years belongs to the Albertsons Library team," Colegrove said. "Blue Turf Thinking - bold, inventive, unafraid to try what others wouldn't - is what made this library a place students rely on and other institutions look to. It has been the honor of my career to lead them, and I leave knowing they will keep raising the bar for what an academic library can be."
