Maxwell Golf Course Operation and Management Proposals Now Open
The City of Abilene is accepting sealed written proposals for the operation and management of Maxwell Municipal Golf Course.
Proposals are due by Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the Office of the Purchasing Administrator at Abilene City Hall, 555 Walnut Street, Room 201-A, Abilene, Texas, 79601.

What to Know
- Bids must be received by 4 p.m. on the November 13 deadline.
- A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:30 at the Maxwell Pro Shop, 1002 South 32nd Street, in Abilene.
- All proposals must substantially comply with specifications. Contact [email protected] for proposal information. For specification information, contact Melissa Gorman at [email protected].
- Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with the name of the proposer, their address, the name of the project, and the proposal number (#CB-2606) on the outside.
- Any proposals received after scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals will be marked "Received Late" and returned to sender.
The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the proposal that is considered most advantageous to the City.
