Ranking places PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center among top hospitals in state

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center was recently recognized as one of the top hospitals in Washington by U.S. News & World Report.

The magazine recognized Southwest as the No. 4 best regional hospital in Washington as well as high performing in 15 procedures/conditions and one specialty.

That included several cardiac care, pulmonology and surgical procedures and cancer treatments. PeaceHealth Southwest's rehabilitation efforts also received accolades. U.S. News and World Report recognized the rehabilitation unit as high performing and ranking seventh in Washington.

"Recognitions such as this are a testament to the care and effort our caregivers put forth every day as they live out our Mission and Values in the course of their work," said PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Chief Executive Cherelle Montanye.

Earlier this year, PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center was awarded an 'A' in the spring 2024 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a distinction recognizing PeaceHealth Southwest's achievements in protecting patients from harm and providing safer health care.
