DataBank Awarded Outstanding Employee Engagement Strategy Gold Winner at the 2026 TITAN Business Awards

Dallas, TX - April 27, 2026 - DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, interconnection, and managed services, has been recognized at the 2026 TITAN Business Awards: Season 1, receiving the Gold Winner certificate for its Outstanding Employee Engagement Strategy, specifically, it's Employee Ownership Program.

Organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the TITAN Business Awards is widely recognized among the leading international business awards, honoring organizations and professionals that demonstrate measurable impact, operational excellence, and sustained business growth across industries worldwide.

Award-Winning Achievement
In late 2024, DataBank's leadership team decided to initiate an employee-ownership program, giving every employee a stake in the company's performance. With the support of its investors, and OwnershipWorks.org, DataBank set aside a portion of the management equity pool and designed the "Extreme Ownership Program (EOP)" which made all ~1,000 full-time employees part-owners of the company.

Upon a future qualifying transaction involving the management equity pool (acquisition, recapitalization, IPO, etc.) the program will trigger a one-time bonus of up to 12-months compensation in addition to an employee's regular salary and benefits. The exact amount of the payouts will depend on overall company performance and pool value in a transaction.

In June 2025, the program was rolled out in a surprise company-wide event that took place across all locations. A video explaining the program was played, followed by a presentation, Q&A, food, and celebrations. Every employee received an ownership welcome kit with program-branded merchandise and a solid brass commemorative coin signifying their ownership stake in the company.

Winning entries demonstrate how organizations effectively translate strategy into execution while maintaining consistency and long-term value.

The 2026 TITAN Business Awards were evaluated by an international panel of senior professionals with expertise across business leadership, operations, strategy, and innovation.

Through a structured blind judging process, entries were assessed solely on their merits, ensuring fairness, integrity, and professional excellence in recognizing the most impactful business achievements worldwide.
