Portland, Maine - The MEMIC Group, a leading super-regional workers' compensation insurance company, has hired Eric Stager as a Safety Management Consultant on its Loss Control team. He will work with policyholders throughout the Northeast.
Stager brings extensive experience in occupational safety through his service in both military and federal roles. He served as Chief Master Sergeant and Senior Enlisted Leader of the 439th Civil Engineer Squadron in the U.S. Air Force, and later as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer with the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), where he was recognized for his expertise in electrical safety and fall hazard prevention. He also held the role of High Voltage Electrical Supervisor at Hanscom Air Force Base.
Stager holds a Master Electrical License in Connecticut and a Journeyman License in Massachusetts. His academic credentials include associate degrees in Electrical Mechanical Technology and Communication Navigation from the Community College of the Air Force, as well as an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Minneapolis Community & Technical College.
