Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs meets with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Management
On 2 March 2026, Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, held discussions with Mr. Jason Evans, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Management, during the latter's visit to Thailand.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the longstanding Thailand - U.S. alliance, founded on shared interests. They further discussed enhancing support to facilitate the work of diplomatic and consular representatives of both countries, recognizing that effective mission operations are integral to advancing cooperation as well as to protecting nationals and providing consular services.
