MED, Production Begins On Netflix's First Medical Drama, Starring Clara Moneke

São Paulo, May 25, 2026 - On Monday, 25 May, Netflix announced MED , its first original Brazilian medical series. Starring Clara Moneke and set in a university hospital, the series immerses viewers in the intense world of young doctors in training, exploring the emotional, ethical and deeply human challenges of the profession.

The cast also features Gisela Gáti, Gabriela Mag, Pedro Goifman and Ricardo Reis, who play a group of students who share the challenges, insecurities and discoveries of clinical training, alongside Fábio Scalon and Humberto Morais.

A Paranoïd Filmes production, MED is produced by Manoel Rangel, Egisto Betti and Heitor Dhalia. The series is created and directed by Helena Petta and Ana Petta with Gustavo Bragança serving as head writer and screenplays by Aline Portugal, João Costa Van Hombeeck, Thays Berbe and Victor Hugo Valois.
