The City of Pompano Beach warmly invites residents, friends, and visitors to gather in unity and spirit for the Annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 6th, at noon, at the American flagpole in front of City Hall at 100 West Atlantic Boulevard.
Mayor Rex Hardin will lead this heartfelt observance as our community joins others across the country in a shared moment of prayer, reflection, and hope. This event is part of a nationwide tradition that brings people of all faiths together to uplift the nation in thought and prayer.
Created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, the National Day of Prayer is held annually on the first Thursday of May. It serves as a powerful reminder of the values of unity, compassion, and resilience that define our American spirit.
Come be part of a meaningful tradition that honors faith, community, and country.
