Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden Wan Degang Attends Chinese New Year Reception Held by the Chinese Embassy in Sweden

On February 10, 2026, Mr. Wan Degang, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Sweden, attended the Chinese New Year Reception held by the Embassy. Around 700 people, including friends from various sectors in Sweden, representatives of Chinese companies and local Chinese community, and Chinese students studying in Sweden, joined the event.

In his remarks, Mr. Wan provided an overview of China's development in various fields and the growth of China-Sweden relations over the past year, stating that China will continue to advance high-quality development through high-standard opening up, further deepen reform and opening up across the board, deliver prosperity for all, and write a new chapter in the story of China's miracle.
