Young Discusses American Biotech Leadership at Axios Live Event

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.), Chairman of the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB), joined Axios' The Global Biotech Race event for a conversation on America's global leadership in biotechnology and growing competition with China.

During the discussion, Senator Young highlighted the importance of maintaining America's biotechnology advantage by accelerating innovation, strengthening domestic manufacturing, modernizing the regulatory environment, and harnessing emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.

Senator Young also discussed his work as Chair of the NSCEB, which developed recommendations to strengthen the U.S. biotechnology sector, address national security vulnerabilities, and guide federal government priorities.
