Dentons announces today that Chrys Carey has joined the Firm as a partner in Washington, DC. Carey brings more than two decades of experience advising banks, investment firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions on derivatives, swaps, FX and hedging transactions, as well as related regulatory and compliance matters.
Carey represents clients on both buy- and sell-side transactions, covering listed and over-the-counter products and issues arising under global derivatives regulatory frameworks. He regularly negotiates ISDA Master Agreements, prime brokerage, clearing and collateral arrangements, and advises on issues under the Commodity Exchange Act and Commodity Futures Trading Commission rules. His experience also includes secondary market loan transactions and a broad range of structured finance and capital markets matters, including residential MBS, ABS and asset-based lending.
