Briefing on the Preparation Process for the 4th High-Level International Conference

On April 14, 2026, a briefing was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to the preparation for the 4th High-Level International Conference within the framework of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", which will take place on May 25-28, 2026, in the city of Dushanbe.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. I. Nasredin, provided detailed information on the upcoming event and the preparations undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the organization of the Conference. The Ambassador also highlighted the organization of thematic sessions, side events, forums, as well as the establishment of an international exhibition space and the arrangement of a cultural program within the framework of the conference.

The briefing was attended by more than 30 participants, including heads of relevant institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ambassadors of foreign states accredited in Uzbekistan, representatives of international organizations in the field of water resources and climate, as well as representatives of the mass media.
