Ontario Liberals Look to the Future After Fully Paying Down Campaign Debt

QUEEN'S PARK - Ontario Liberal Party Interim Leader John Fraser and Ontario Liberal Party President Kathryn McGarry announced today that the Ontario Liberal Party has fully paid its 2025 campaign bank loan, strengthening the party's position as it continues to grow across the province.

"Today, I'm pleased to announce that the Ontario Liberal Party has fully paid our past campaign debt," said McGarry.

"This achievement reflects the hard work and generosity of Liberals across Ontario who believe in our party and what we can accomplish together. It strengthens our position as we continue growing our party and preparing for the future.

"Our leadership race will build on that momentum - growing our grassroots, welcoming new members and strengthening local teams in communities across Ontario," McGarry said.

"At Queen's Park, we will continue holding Doug Ford's tired and out-of-touch Conservative government to account. Across the province, we will keep listening, organizing and earning the trust of Ontarians," said Fraser.

"Most importantly, we will show Ontarians that we are serious about making life more affordable, strengthening health care and education, and making government work better for the people it serves.
