Official Welcoming Ceremony Held for President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili at the Presidential Palace of the Slovak Republic

An official welcoming ceremony for President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili was held at the Presidential Palace of the Slovak Republic.

President Kavelashvili and the Georgian delegation were hosted by the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini. As part of the official visit, meetings between President Kavelashvili and President Pellegrini are scheduled in both bilateral and extended formats, after which a joint statement will be issued to the media.

President Kavelashvili is also scheduled to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková, and the Speaker of the National Council, Richard Raši.

The Georgian delegation includes Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee; George Zurabashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Konstantine Kvachakidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Slovak Republic; and representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.

The President's official visit is scheduled to conclude on 3 April.
