Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Johns County hosts first responders & law enforcement for a BBQ
Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns County gave back to local first responders and law enforcement officers this week through a free BBQ hosted by the hospital's emergency department.
They served members of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, St. Johns County Fire Rescue and Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department.
"They come in after dealing with so much on the streets," said King Davis, EMS Coordinator for Ascension St. Vincent's. "This is just our way of giving back to them and saying 'I appreciate you.'"
The food was catered by Smoke in the City BBQ.
