CCSSO Releases Statement on Utah Chief Announcement

Washington, D.C. (January 10, 2025) - Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) Chief Executive Officer Carissa Moffat Miller released the following statement on Utah State Superintendent of Education Sydnee Dickson's announcement.

"Superintendent Sydnee Dickson is an innovative and thoughtful leader. She has kept students at the forefront in her work and engaged at the local, state and national levels. I am grateful for her service on CCSSO's Board of Directors over the years and her unending support to colleagues across the country. I wish her the best in her next chapter."

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) is a nonpartisan, nationwide, nonprofit organization of public officials who head departments of elementary and secondary education in the states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, Bureau of Indian Education, and five U.S. extra-state jurisdictions.
