CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 6, 2025) - Cochran Boulevard between Veterans Boulevard and Kenilworth Boulevard will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Nov. 21 for the construction of a new roadway as part of the Veterans Boulevard and Cochran Boulevard intersection improvement project.
Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
