MANSFIELD - Rocco Zegalia '94, business development/account manager at TWG Security, will give the keynote address at the Commonwealth University-Mansfield Spring 2025 Career Intensive Boot Camp on Feb. 21-22.

Career Intensive Boot Camp is a two-day student-to-professional transition conference open to Commonwealth University juniors and seniors of all majors. The event includes an etiquette dinner, resume reviews and mock interviews by alumni and professionals, professional headshots, panel discussions, speakers, and more.

"Career Intensive Boot Camp is a transformative opportunity for students to connect with alumni and professionals, sharpen their skills, and gain invaluable insights as they prepare for their next career steps," said Nichole Lefelhoc, director of career & professional development at Commonwealth University. "We're thrilled to bring this dynamic event to CU-Mansfield and provide a platform for students to build their confidence and launch their professional journeys."

Zegalia has been in a sales and marketing capacity in the Lehigh Valley for nearly 30 years with focus on building strong relationships and networking. His keynote "Networking: What it is and Why it is Important" will be delivered to attendees on the second day of the event.

Zegalia earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from Mansfield University in 1994 following his duty in the Security Forces of the U.S. Air Force. Zegalia, who continues to have strong ties to Mansfield, was honored with the Austin Snyder Alumni Appreciation Award in 2018 and is a member of the organizing committee for the annual Steve Zegalia Memorial Golf Outing that brings hundreds of alumni and friends to Mansfield to raise funds in support of Mountaineer football each summer.

Zegalia is Vice-Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley, Chair Elect of the American Heart Association, and serves on leadership boards for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Twice nominated as a Visionary of the Year by the LLS, he was named 2023 Leader of Impact by the AHA and Mentoring Champion by BBBS. He has been a member of the Executive Forum of the Lehigh Valley for over 15 years.

"I am excited that our alumni want to give back to Mansfield," said Dave Donlick, director of alumni & employer engagement. "Sharing their experiences with current students and creating these connection strengthens our Mountie pride across the nation"

Current CU juniors and seniors should register for this free event by February 7 on Handshake.
