Palm Beach County Legislative Affairs Director Adopts Animal Care Center Dog

A recent tour of Palm Beach County, Public Safety Department, Animal Care and Control Division (PSDACC) turned into a life-changing day for one deserving care center dog. Palm Beach County Legislative Affairs Director Alessandro Marchesani recently visited PSDACC for a behind-the-scenes tour of the care center. Joining him were Representative Emily Gregory, Representative Rob Long and several legislative and district aides representing members of the Florida House of Representatives, including Jevonte "Tae" Edmonds, Peggy Gossett-Seidman, and Kelly Skidmore.

The group toured the Animal Care Center to learn more about the critical services provided by PSDACC, including animal housing, adoptions, foster and rescue programs, public safety initiatives, and the daily efforts to care for homeless animals throughout Palm Beach County.

During the visit, one special dog named Luigi captured Mr. Marchesani's heart. By the end of the tour, Luigi had found his forever home.

"This is exactly the kind of outcome we hope every visitor experiences," said PSDACC. "It's a true win-win that demonstrates the incredible impact adoption can have on both people and pets."
