The Wyoming Air Quality Advisory Board (Board) will meet on December 15, 2025 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held both as a virtual public meeting and in person at 200 W. 17th St., Cheyenne, WY, 2nd Floor, Room 211. The Air Quality Division (Division) is requesting the Board's consideration on proposed changes to the following Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations (WAQSR):

  • Chapter 2 Ambient Standards
  • Chapter 3 General Emissions Standards
  • Chapter 4 State Performance Standards for Specific Existing Sources
  • Chapter 5 National Emission Standards
  • Chapter 6 Permitting Requirements
  • Chapter 8 Nonattainment Area Regulations
  • Chapter 11 National Acid Rain Program
  • Chapter 14 Emission Trading Program Regulations

The proposed rulemaking involves revising the Incorporation by Reference (IBR) sections in the aforementioned chapters of the WAQSR to incorporate all Code of Federal Regulations citations as of July 1, 2025.

The proposed revisions to Chapter 2, Section 12, Chapter 3, Section 9, Chapter 6, Section 14, and Chapter 8, Section 10 involve changes to the Wyoming State Implementation Plan (SIP). The Division will submit these SIP revisions to the Environmental Protection Agency. The Division will also provide the Board with general updates on current activities and topics pertaining to air quality.

The public is invited and may comment on all matters during the Board meeting. All oral comments made during the meeting will become part of the administrative record. Written comments will also become part of the administrative record if they are signed by the commenter and submitted to Amber Potts, Administrator, DEQ Air Quality Division, 200 W. 17th St., Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82002, or faxed to 307-635-1784 by 5 p.m. (MST) on December 15, 2025.
