Baker McKenzie Continues to Grow its Private Equity Practice Group in Sydney with the Appointment of a New Special Counsel

Baker McKenzie has appointed John Nielsen as a new special counsel in Sydney. John joins the Firm having recently worked in-house for a leading Australian private equity firm. His practice focuses on private equity, and broader private corporate transactions.

Baker Mckenzie Transactional Co-practice Leader, Lance Sacks stated: "John comes to us with a wealth of private equity experience having served time at leading global law firms in the South Africa and Australia. John has spent the majority of his career focused on areas we are experiencing increasing client demand - private equity and broader private transactions, corporate restructurings and bespoke investments in debt and equity.
