New Hampshire Named the Best State to Raise a Family

CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement after Consumer Affairs named New Hampshire as the best state to raise a family. The Granite State passed Vermont this year to secure the top spot.

"This new #1 ranking proves what we already know here in the Granite State - New Hampshire is the best place to live, work, and raise a family," said Governor Ayotte. "It's a testament to our independent, hardworking people and the work we've done to give families and businesses the freedom to thrive. We're going to continue protecting our amazing quality of life, putting public safety first, and fighting for an even brighter future for everyone in our state."

Researchers cited the Granite State's top ranking for public safety, access to the great outdoors, quality of health care, and record levels of per-pupil funding for education.
