UC Davis School of Medicine Commencement is Saturday
(SACRAMENTO)
The UC Davis School of Medicine Commencement ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday the at Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts in Davis.
Although entry is limited to people invited by the graduating students, the ceremony will be streamed live.
A total of 119 candidates for the degree of Doctor of Medicine are expected to walk across the stage.
The keynote address will be delivered by Paul Tran, a pediatric gastroenterologist at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, and a social media influencer.
The student speaker is Mustafa Saleh Jundi.
