Starbucks summer menu arrives with new Tropical Butterfly Refresher and horchata-inspired beverages

Summertime vibes have arrived at Starbucks starting May 12 with a summer menu that includes the colorful new Tropical Butterfly Refresher and the return of the Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso and the new Horchata Frappuccino blended beverage.

Making a summertime coffee run is now easier than ever with the launch of the new scheduled ordering feature in the Starbucks app. This new option allows customers to choose a pickup time up to an hour ahead when placing an order in the Starbucks app. As it rolls out, availability may vary by location.

Let's get tropical

The new Tropical Butterfly Refresher brings together color, flavor and texture to create a beverage that ignites all senses. The beverage features layers of tropical refreshment with guava and passionfruit flavors and bursts of mango-pineapple flavored pearls. A splash of butterfly pea flower infusion, derived from the plant known for its vibrant hue, creates a colorful experience.

The drink can be customized with lemonade or coconutmilk as well as customers' preferred level of caffeine and B vitamins.

Reunite with Horchata

The refreshing and creamy flavors of Mexican-style horchata are returning this summer for a limited time with Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso and the new Horchata Frappuccino blended beverage. The Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso features Starbucks Blonde Espresso and horchata syrup, blending cinnamon, sweet vanilla and nutty notes of toasted rice, shaken with ice and finished with oatmilk.

Unicorn Cake Pop

Meet the Unicorn Cake Pop, summer's magical bite-sized treat. Made with creamy vanilla-confetti cake dipped in white-chocolatey icing, the cake pop is decorated with a whimsical unicorn face.

Welcome Khloud White Cheddar Popcorn

Khloud White Cheddar Protein Popcorn is joining its sweet and salty counterpart on the Starbucks menu, offering a savory snack with real white cheddar and seven grams of protein.

Adventure-ready merchandise

You'll want to take the scenic route this summer with the Starbucks Road Trip Collection of merchandise inspired by open roads, spontaneous detours and your favorite Starbucks beverages. The collection features stainless steel tumblers, cold cups, and mugs, along with accessories like sticker packs, keychains, totes and a picnic blanket. Available at participating coffeehouses in the United States beginning May 12 for a limited time while supplies last. Learn more about this collection here.

Introducing Scheduled Ordering

Beginning today, May 11, customers placing orders in the Starbucks app can use the new scheduled ordering feature to help navigate busy days. This new option is designed for customers who want to plan their visit to coffeehouses in the United States up to one hour ahead by choosing a specific time to pick up their mobile order.
